2900 meter long fly-over built at a cost of Rs 154 crore, inaugurated on January 23
Fly-over will be helpful in traffic management

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate Bhopal’s biggest fly-over, newly constructed at a cost of Rs 154 crore, between Gayatri Mandir and Ganesh Mandir on Thursday, January 23. This fly-over will help in significantly improving the traffic management of the city. It will also provide relief to the passengers. Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh will also be present in the ceremony.
The fly-over constructed on Maida Mill Road in Bhopal city from Gayatri Mandir to DB Mall intersection, Board Office intersection, Pragati intersection to Ganesh Temple via Mansarovar Complex is 2900 meters long and 15 meters wide. It connects Maida Mill Marg to major residential and commercial areas like Vidya Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Saket Nagar, Danish Nagar, Ashima Mall and AIIMS. Apart from this, it will also ease the way for the passengers going towards Aubedullaganj, Narmadapuram, Betul, Khandwa and Jabalpur.
This fly-over is D.B. It will reduce traffic pressure on crowded areas like Mall, Board Office, Pragati Petrol Pump and Mansarovar Crossing. According to preliminary estimates, 60% of the traffic will pass through this fly-over, while the remaining 40% of the traffic will use the old routes.
One branch of the fly-over is D.B. The mall leads from the intersection towards Bhopal Haat (Mantralaya Marg), which will provide relief to the employees working in all the state level offices located at Vallabh Bhawan and Arera Hills from the traffic jam during peak hours. With ease of transportation, citizens will save time in reaching their destination and vehicle pollution will also reduce, which will provide relief to the citizens of Bhopal city.
