With the blessings of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving towards becoming a developed state. Our government has been in power for only thirteen months. Meanwhile, we have done many important works of public service with sensitivity for good governance. He said that with the formation of the government, we have made continuous efforts for the development of all sections as well as to improve the standard of living of the people in urban and rural areas. This has led to the development of infrastructure, sanitation, clean drinking water and health facilities in cities and rural areas. Our first year was dedicated to the development of the socially and economically backward people. The state established new dimensions of development. Working continuously for the welfare of all sections. Our government has fulfilled most of the guarantees of the illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi within a year. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the ‘Steps of Urban Development’ program organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium.
The Chief Minister said that if the head of the country, from the Prime Minister to the village Sarpanch, are development-minded public representatives, Chhattisgarh will have all-round development with the basic mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. He said that there should be coordinated development of village and urban areas, for this adequate availability of human resources is necessary. There was a demand for a long time regarding compassionate appointment in urban bodies. We have also approved new posts for this after considering it sensitively. Today we have distributed order letters for compassionate appointment to 103 posts under the Sopan Program of Urban Development. Our effort is to increase employment opportunities in the state and make more and more youth self-reliant. Our government has approved 353 posts for compassionate appointment in the Urban Administration and Development Department and various urban bodies.

With this, the resolve of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide clean drinking water to every household is going to take shape.
With everyone’s participation in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, great success is being achieved in urban areas. To encourage cleanliness, we are also honoring those doing excellent work from time to time.
