BJP President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda has termed Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Indian State’ statement as a mockery of the Constitution. Questions were also raised on the ‘history related knowledge’ of the Lok Sabha MP.
JP Nadda addressed a public meeting in Gujarat under the Constitution Pride campaign. Said, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi talks about “fight against the Indian state”. You must have heard that Rahul Gandhi says fight against the Indian state. They neither have any knowledge of history, nor do they have anything to do with history. I often say that their speech writers write anything and they say the same thing in public. If anyone has made fun of the Constitution the most, it is the Congress Party.”
Nadda also mentioned Congress rule. He said, “In this journey of 75 years, Congress leaders ruled this country for 65 years. But the Congress Party played with the Constitution made by Baba Saheb Ambedkar. After independence, the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had taken the responsibility of Jammu and Kashmir, such a mess was created that Article 370 was implemented there. Baba Saheb Ambedkar had termed this policy of giving privileges to the state of Jammu and Kashmir and separating it from India as treason. Baba Saheb made a good constitution but bad people misused it and imposed 35A in Jammu and Kashmir, which was not even passed by the Parliament. These people who betrayed the Parliament are today pretending to be concerned about the dignity of the Parliament.”
He said that Allahabad High Court had canceled the election of Mrs. Indira Gandhi in 1975. At that time the country was not in danger but Indira Gandhi’s chair was in danger. To save him he had imposed emergency in India. In the Shahbano case, the Supreme Court had ordered to give maintenance allowance to the victim woman, but the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi changed the law under pressure from Muslim leaders and clerics. The result of which was that the Shahbans could not get justice.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Article 370 was abolished, Article 35A was abolished. Congress party only talks about Baba Saheb but Prime Minister Modi declared Baba Saheb’s birth anniversary April 14 as National Harmony Day. By building a memorial in his memory, his respect was increased in the society, while the Congress had even refused to give him Bharat Ratna.
JP Nadda further said that whether it is Baba Saheb’s birthplace Mhow, education land London, initiation land Nagpur, chaitya land Mumbai or Delhi, where he spent his last time, the PM will also take up the task of making those places pilgrimage sites. Modi has done it. Whereas Congress always insulted Baba Saheb. Congress worked to defeat Baba Saheb till the elections and did not consider it appropriate to give him Bharat Ratna, Baba Saheb received Bharat Ratna only when BJP supported government was formed at the Centre. After a week we will celebrate Republic Day on 26th January. Along with this, participate in the Constitution Gaurav Yatra and spread the message about who tampered with the Constitution.
