Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Jijamata taught us that with determination and courage even the impossible can be made possible. Referring to the women empowerment schemes and policies of the state government, he said that the government is working with full commitment for the all-round development of women. Jijamata Samman Ceremony has been organized with the aim of empowering women and honoring their contribution to the society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Jijamata Samman Ceremony organized at Ravindra Bhawan on Sunday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that when a player wins a medal in a national or international competition, it is not only the hard work of that player, but also the sacrifice, dedication, devotion, emotion, tears and hard work put into preparing that player. The mother who sheds her tears also has an important contribution. The role of women is paramount in making India India and in making players into players. Family is the first training school of the child and mothers do this job very well. We feel proud to honor him. A cooperative approach of the society and government towards sports and players is very important. We are working in this direction and trying to develop all sports in the state and provide equal opportunities to the players.

Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that women power has brought respect and pride to this country. Sports is an important part of our life. This is our culture as well as our nature. By implementing the new national sports policy, we will prepare players who can bring maximum Olympic medals for the country. Through this policy, we have planned to pay special attention to the training of adolescent players aged 9 to 15 years. After Khelo India School Games, Khelo India University Games, we are moving in this direction through Khelo India Youth Games. Good results are also emerging. We will prepare players from the districts and bring them to the state level and prepare state level players for national and international level sports competitions. While congratulating all the women powers honored with Jija Mata Samman, he said that we have to come forward for the reconstruction of the country. Mothers have the most important role in this.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said that it was his mother-in-law who made Shivaji Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He congratulated and thanked Krida Bharti for organizing this national level felicitation ceremony in Bhopal. Sarang said that this event is not only an honor to mothers but also to the efforts being made by the Madhya Pradesh government to honor sports and players.

National Executive President of Krida Bharati and Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, while throwing light on the outline of the programme, said that Krida Bharati is an organization dedicated to the development of sports. In the function, on behalf of Krida Bharti, mothers of players who made the country proud in national and international level sports competitions were honored with Jijamata Award. Among those honored were Mrs. Gauridevi, mother of international gymnast and Khel Ratna awardee Sudeepa Karmakar, international hockey goalkeeper P.R. Mrs. Usha Kumari, mother of Sreejesh, Mrs. Mamoni Devi Borgohain, mother of Olympic boxer Sulwalina, Mrs. Shweta Javeria, mother of parachutist Suvani Lekhara, who won gold medal in competitions in both Tokyo and Paris Paralympics and Mrs. Kamla Devi, mother of state’s international hockey player Vivek Sagar Prasad. Was honored with Jijamata Award. Mrs. Saroj Chopra, mother of Neeraj Chopra, gold medal winner in javelin throw in the Olympic competition held last year, was also awarded this honour. In the absence of Mrs. Chopra, Neeraj Chopra’s uncle Bhim Singh accepted the Jijamata award on her behalf. Did. The sports song ‘Khel-Khiladi-Khel’ was also launched in the programme.

Sports knowledge test awards were also given

Chetanya Kashyap Foundation is organizing online sports knowledge test at the national level every year for the last three years. In the year 2024, a total of 1 lakh 40 thousand participants participated in this examination. The Foundation gives first, second and third prizes worth Rs 5 lakh to the winners of this examination every year. The first prize of Rs 1 lakh, two second prizes of Rs 50,000 each and 11 third prizes of Rs 11,000 each are given. In the Jijamata Samman ceremony, this year’s first prize of Rs 1 lakh was given to Partha Prajapat of Indore Malwa province and two second prizes of Rs 50,000 each were given to Abhishek Kumar of South Bihar and Dev Karelia of Saurashtra. The main objective of organizing this examination is to create awareness about sports among the youth.

Mrs. Shweta Javeria, who received the Jijamata award at the ceremony, shared her motherly experience of the hard work she did to help parachutist Suvani Lekhara achieve her goal. He said that children should always be taught to fight against adverse situations, never let their morale fall, only then a child can move forward to become a good player.
