With the objective of providing new possibilities in the field of employment and skill development to the youth of Chhattisgarh, today at Shaheed Smarak Auditorium, Raipur, in the chief hospitality of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma and Forest and Skill Development Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Department of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment. Shri S Bharathidasan, Secretary, signed the MoU with CSRbox Foundation, CII Young Indians and Apnatech Pvt. Ltd. On this occasion, Director Technical Education and Employment Mr. Rituraj Raghuvanshi, Vice President of Apnatech Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Preet Singh, Vice President of CSRbox Foundation Mr. Mano Viraj Singh, Vice President and Chairperson of CII Young Indians Mr. Gaurav Aggarwal and other officers, employees and various Students of the institute were present.
On the occasion of the contract execution ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that the Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to the skill development of the youth and providing them employment opportunities. He said that today’s agreement will prove to be a milestone in shaping the future of the youth of Chhattisgarh. Our objective is not only to provide jobs to the youth, but also to provide them with skills so that they can become self-reliant and achieve new heights in their field. The government will ensure that every student, whether from ITI, engineering college or polytechnic, has a fair employment opportunity. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma also clarified that the data of students registered for employment will be completely secure and it will be used only in the interest of the state. He assured that whatever services will be provided under the contract, they will be ensured with complete transparency and quality.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma, while appealing to the youth to register on CG Employment Portal, said that our aim is that every youth should get the right direction as per his capability and qualification. This government will make every possible effort to fulfill the dreams of the youth. Together with partners like Apnatech Pvt Ltd, CSRbox and CII Young Indians, a new era of employment and skill development is beginning in the state. Free of cost certification course will be conducted by IBM which will be available in ITI, engineering and polytechnic colleges of the state. This course will train students as per global standards and aims to ensure employment to at least 10% of the students. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma said that the youth can bring about the biggest changes if they want. He said that innovation starts with just an idea. We have to inspire our youth to not just build on what is already in the market, but to create new products and solutions that are useful to the society. Success can be achieved only by making a small thought a big goal. With this contract, the government has made a new beginning in the field of skill development and employment, which will lead the youth of the state towards a bright future.
Forest and Skill Development Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said on this occasion that the youth of Chhattisgarh have immense potential, but they need right guidance and opportunities. This agreement will ensure that youth from rural and remote areas can also join the mainstream and showcase their capabilities. He said that Chhattisgarh government wants to empower the youth and make them self-reliant.
