Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi distributed property cards under the ownership scheme to 65 lakh beneficiaries of more than 50 thousand villages of the country. The Prime Minister interacted with beneficiaries from different states of the country while distributing property cards online. On this occasion, Shri Modi said that Swamitva Yojana is not only providing solid records to the beneficiaries but is also giving flight to their aspirations. Efforts are on to bring Gram Swaraj to the ground in the country. In this program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav joined Seoni virtually.

The telecast of the district level program of Swamitva Yojana by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj was seen and heard in the Municipal Corporation Town Hall as well as in the District Headquarters and Gram Panchayats of the district. Addressing the district level program, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that along with development programs in the country and the state, beneficiary-oriented schemes are being implemented on priority and eligible people are being provided their benefits. He said that public welfare schemes are being run in the country under the leadership of the Prime Minister. In the state too, under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, people are being benefited from centrally run schemes as well as by carrying out public welfare works at the state level. By getting the lease from the ownership scheme, now the beneficiaries became the owners of that land and people also got a solid legal record. The Deputy Chief Minister said that ownership and land rights are becoming the basis of village development.

He praised the prompt lease preparation and distribution work done by the district administration. He said that by January 31, the remaining beneficiaries will also get the pattas. The Deputy Chief Minister gave instructions to prepare a list in urban areas and provide lease rights to the eligible beneficiaries. He expected the public representatives and officials to become a boon to democracy by participating in the implementation of beneficiary-oriented schemes. The Deputy Chief Minister distributed ownership cards to the beneficiaries.

Earlier, Collector Smt. Pratibha Pal told that under the Swamitva Scheme, people living in populated areas of rural areas are being provided Swamitva Cards after survey and map making using drones. Lease of 795234 square meters of land is being provided to 4283 beneficiaries of 156 villages of the district. Before this, a total of 2211 pattas have been distributed in 44 villages of the district from the year 2023 to March 2024. The remaining leases will be distributed by January 31st. District Panchayat President Mrs. Neeta Kol, District BJP President Virendra Gupta, President Municipal Corporation Vyankatesh Pandey, DIG Saket Prakash Pandey, Additional Collector Mrs. Sapna Tripathi, Joint Collector PK Pandey, Joint Collector Shreyas Gokhale, SDM Huzoor Vaishali Jain, Tehsildar Shivshankar Shukla were present in the program. , Naib Tehsildar Yatish Shukla, Naib Tehsildar Vindhya Mishra, Project Officer Farhat Jaib Councilors, public representatives, elite people and beneficiaries were present.
