Rajim Kumbh Kalp is going to be organized in Chhattisgarh from 12th February to 26th February. This time the fair venue of Rajim Kumbh Mahotsav will be changed. According to the sources of the district administration, the fair venue will no longer be held at the Sangam site, but between Laxman Jhula and Chaube Bandha, 750 meters away from there.
Rajim Kumbh Mela is an important fair for the tribals of India. A fair is held for fifteen days from Magh Purnima to Mahashivratri.
Where is Rajim Kumbh Mela held: This fair is held at the Triveni confluence of Sondhur, Pairi and Mahanadi rivers, 45 kilometers away from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. In this fair, Chhattisgarh has been made famous across the country as the trinity of religion, art and culture and has also given a new identity.
To be honest, Rajim-Kumbh is another name for the faith and purity of Chhattisgarhis since time immemorial. It is said that the story of sacrifice of Rajim Mata is prevalent in Rajim area of Chhattisgarh state and this area has received the blessings of Lord Kuleshwar Mahadev. Rajim fair is organized for both the reasons.
Prayag of Chhattisgarh
Rajim, called Prayag of Chhattisgarh, is a confluence of religion, spirituality, tradition and culture. There is a confluence of three rivers in Rajim, hence people call it Triveni Sangam. Rajim Kumbh Kalpa has started on Saturday at Triveni Sangam. The fair is held for 15 days from Magh Purnima.
