On the occasion of Prayagraj Mahakumbh Mela, Indian Railways has decided to run several special trains through Bhopal division to provide better facilities to the passengers. These special trains will also have stops at Bhopal station and other major stations of the division, which will give the devotees an opportunity to travel easily to the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Naval Aggarwal, ACM and PRO of Bhopal Division, said that these special trains are being run by the Railways to make the journey of the passengers more comfortable and convenient. The stoppages of these trains include Bhopal, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Itarsi and other major stations.
Bhopal-Bina MEMU train starts, passengers will get relief
Meanwhile, there is news from Bhopal that after a long wait, MEMU train service running between Bhopal and Bina has started again from January 14. This train was canceled by the Railways from December 28 last year due to sending rakes during Mahakumbh.
In the last few days, passengers from Bhopal to Bina and its surrounding rural areas protested against this decision, after which the Railways has withdrawn its decision and decided to restart the train service. From January 14, train 61631-61632 Bhopal-Bina-Bhopal Passenger and train 11605-11606 Bhopal-Bina-Bhopal Express are running as scheduled.
According to Railway officials, lakhs of people from Madhya Pradesh will also participate in Prayagraj Kumbh. Out of the 40 trains announced so far, seats are available in sleeper, third AC and second AC in more than 14 trains. Railways has also given stoppage to 8 trains at Naini station.
09029 Vishwamitri-Ballia Mahakumbh Mela Special Train (1-1 Trip)
This train will depart from Vishwamitri station in Gujarat at 08:35 am on 17th February.
It will stop at Sant Hirdaram Nagar at 19:10, Vidisha at 08:40, Ganjbasoda at 09:10, Bina at 11:05 and other stations.
It will reach Ballia station at 7 pm the next day.
