The country is celebrating the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as ‘National Unity Day’. Recalling the invaluable contribution of Swamiji, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the youth are moving forward on the path of progress. He said that we celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with reverence and respect. He said that while celebrating this day, we also celebrate the efforts under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to involve the youth of the country in building a new India.
He said, “The way the Prime Minister has inspired and guided the Indian youth in a positive direction is extremely important. Today, at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with the developed India ambassadors from across the country and will discuss the role of youth towards building a developed India by 2047. It is a coincidence that the day before yesterday I also got the opportunity to meet 125 children from Maharashtra and Goa, who will participate in this developed India program today.”
The Union Minister said that seeing the enthusiasm of these children, their thinking and their devotion towards India gave me great joy and inspiration. On this occasion, I realized that the youth of India at this time are not only pursuing their personal development, but they are also committed to serving the country and taking the country forward towards progress. Especially, in today’s time when India’s economic condition is also getting stronger, the youth of the country are fully prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in this perspective. Today I also experienced that the youth of India are ready with a new zeal and enthusiasm to serve the country and are excited to fulfill their responsibilities.
The Union Minister further said that I also believe that the way India has made its mark in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is unprecedented. The growing power and pride of India has not only inspired the countrymen but has also increased the attraction towards India in foreign countries. Investors are now getting attracted to invest in India as well as other countries are also looking forward to increase trade with India.
He said that the leadership of Prime Minister Modi ji is now being recognized as a world leader and his scope of work is not limited to India only, but he has also increased India’s honor and respect at the international level. This day reminds us that unless we channelize our youth in the right direction, development of the country is not possible. But under the leadership of the Prime Minister, we are seeing that today the youth are actively contributing in building their nation and in the future, their role will be important in making India a strong and prosperous nation.
