On Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Kapila Gaushala in Ratnakhedi, Ujjain and performed Bhoomi Pujan of the Gau-Mata Temple Seva Sthal by worshiping the cow while reciting Vedas. Also inspected the Gau-Mata shed, public toilet and other progressing development works being developed by the Municipal Corporation with the fund of Rs 3.5 crore given by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. During this, Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil was also with him.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav had declared the year 2024 as the year of cow promotion. The aim of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is to protect and promote all the cow progeny, to prevent accidents caused by unclaimed cow progeny, to upgrade indigenous breed of cows and to promote organic agriculture with the use of organic fertilizers. The state government has doubled the cow progeny feed subsidy for cow conservation and promotion. Now the animals of registered cowsheds are being given a food subsidy of Rs 40 per day.
Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat, Skill Development and Employment Minister and district in-charge Minister Gautam Tetwal, Achyutanand Maharaj, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Chairman Mrs. Kalavati Yadav and other public representatives were present.
