Actually, the Transport Department has started the ‘No Helmet No Fuel’ campaign. The Transport Department has sent notices to all the petrol pumps in the district and ordered them to put up hoardings with the slogan No Helmet No Fuel. Besides, orders have also been given to monitor through CCTV cameras.
Let us inform that last Wednesday, Transport Department Commissioner BN Singh had held a meeting with the RTO and ARTO of Meerut division. During this, he had said that No Helmet No Fuel campaign has been started to reduce the increasing road accidents in the district. Due to which DM Manish Verma has sent a letter to the Transport Department on Friday.
