The swindler, while engaging in conversation, changed the old man’s ATM card. After checking the password, he withdrew Rs 82,500 within minutes. A complaint of fraud has been lodged in Chhatripura police station. Complainant Ravindra Shukla (MOG Line) was withdrawing money from SBI ATM located in South Rajmohalla.
Suddenly a person came and engaged them in conversation. The accused changed Shukla’s ATM card. Within some time he withdrew Rs 82 thousand 500 from Shukla’s account. Shukla is a freelance writer. He told the police that he got information about the fraud through SMS. The police is writing a letter to the bank and getting the CCTV footage.
