Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade will attend the Chintan Shivir in Udaipur city of Rajasthan from 10 to 12 January. By attending the camp, she will discuss freely with the representatives of the states and union territories.

This three-day event organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development will bring together key stakeholders including dignitaries and senior officials from the Central Government and State Governments on one platform. Through the camp, we will try to find every possible solution to resolve these challenges through discussion on various issues facing challenges related to the overall development and welfare of women and children across the country.

Union Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Annapurna Devi will participate and inaugurate the program. On this occasion, Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Savitri Thakur will share updated information about the currently running schemes, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Diya Kumari and heads of Women and Child Development Departments of States and Union Territories. Ministers will also participate.

The event featured several key sessions focusing on key initiatives of the Ministry including Mission Vatsalya, Mission Shakti and Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Nutrition 2.0. These sessions aim to address important issues and pave the way for the future to strengthen women’s welfare and children’s development in India.

In this program, best practice presentations will be given from various states and union territories. These presentations will focus on successful implementations aimed at addressing issues faced by women and children, as well as discuss how to scale up in districts to better provide services to beneficiaries.

The camp will feature open discussions with representatives from States/UTs, providing a platform to address challenges, share ideas and engage in collaborative problem-solving, strengthening Anganwadi Centers so that they To be developed as a center of nutrition, education, health and awareness and services, Mission Vatsalya To accelerate child welfare through better childcare institutions, foster care, adoption and after-care, Mission Shakti Protection of women , To address issues like child marriage and use of technology to empower women especially through She-Box portal.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development and Government of Rajasthan are hosting this important event. This collaborative effort will pave the way for effective policy decisions and effective implementation of welfare programmes.
