Advocate Santosh Sharma, who got homeopathic doctor Sunil Sahu murdered in Rajendra Nagar police station area, has surrendered in the court. The accused was being searched since the incident, but he was dodging. Accused Santosh had murdered the doctor because of his affair with his wife. According to the police, the car seen in the CCTV footage after the incident belonged to Santosh.
There was a dispute, wife was also involved in the murder
- Santosh and the doctor’s wife have been in a relationship for three years. There used to be frequent disputes between the doctor and his wife Sonali regarding this matter. The wife, along with Santosh, had decided to kill the doctor.
- According to the police, accused Santosh surrendered in the district court at 12.30 pm on Monday. Till now, wife Sonali, lawyer Manoj Suman resident of Ujjain, veterinary doctor Prakash Yadav resident of Aligarh, shooter Sangram Singh have been arrested.
- The shooter Hulla alias Hullan is absconding in the incident, who is being searched. Police said that the accused was technically helping Manoj in the case of shooting and killing the doctor.
- He was using Santosh’s mobile in Ujjain to mislead the police. Many mobile phones were switched on by him at different locations in Ujjain. So that the police feel that Santosh is in Ujjain only.
This was the incident, sensation spread in the city on 27th December
- ACP Rubina Mijbani told that on the night of 27th December, Dr. Sunil Sahu was shot dead at the clinic located in Kundan Nagar. We had formed various teams to search for the accused. Teams were also sent to places like Ujjain, New Delhi, Aligarh etc.
- In the incident it was revealed that two accused had opened fire. After this, the vehicle was traced in which the accused had fled. It was revealed that the incident happened due to a love affair.
- The family member also said in the statement that the wife used to talk to someone from Sonali, due to which there were disputes in the house. During the dispute, Santosh along with his wife had planned to remove the doctor from the way.
Had been planning for four months
According to the police, the wife and Santosh were planning to kill the doctor for about four months. For this, Santosh along with his friends made a complete plan. He contacted his friend living in Aligarh and bought the shooter for Rs 1.40 lakh. Even two months ago, the absconding accused had gone to the clinic of a female doctor to commit murder, but he did not get a chance.
The accused was roaming around with his wig removed
The police had a photo of accused Santosh wearing a wig, but after the incident he was roaming around with his wig removed. Due to this it was becoming difficult to recognize him.
The accused had also spent nights at the railway station, but could not be recognized due to the change in his appearance. The accused surrendered in the court wearing a white shirt. The police have taken the accused on remand till January 9.
