Mahindra XEV 9e : Mahindra has revealed the prices of all three variants of its new flagship electric model ‘Mahindra XEV 9e’. The high-end Pack 3 model of Mahindra’s XEV 9e equipped with a 79kWh battery is priced at Rs 30.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This does not include the price of home charger, you will have to purchase it separately. The XEV 9e is available in three variants: Pack 1, Pack 2 and Pack 3.
Pack 1 is priced at Rs 21.90 lakh. While the price of Pack 2 variant is yet to be revealed. Mahindra company is set to open bookings for the high-spec XEV 9e on February 14, 2024. Test drives of this car will begin on January 14, 2025, while deliveries of the top-spec model are expected to begin in March 2025. Talking about the colors of this car, you will get XEV 9e with options like Desert Mist, Tango Red and Everest White.
Mahindra XEV 9e: Powertrain
The XEV 9e has two battery options (59kWh and 79kWh), and a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration across the models. The 59kWh battery is paired with a 227bhp electric motor, while the larger 79kWh option is equipped with a more powerful 282bhp motor. The top-spec variant comes with a 79kWh battery, offering a certified range of 656 kilometres.
Features of XEV 9E
The XEV 9e has three digital screens. The XEV 9e features attractive dual-tone interiors. On the other hand, its sibling model gets gray seat upholstery. The XEV 9e are equipped with premium features, including wireless phone charger, a panoramic sunroof, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and multi-zone air conditioning. For safety, it features a 360-degree camera, 7 airbags, park assist and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
Look and design of XEV 9E
The look of the new XEV 9e is much better. It has been given a futuristic design. It features triangular headlights with projector headlamps, inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRL), LED light bar at the front, new front and rear bumpers, blanked-off grille, front and rear skid plates and contrast colored exterior. Side rear view mirrors (ORVM) are provided. Additionally, it gets refreshed LED taillights, integrated spoiler, C-pillar-mounted rear door handle, connected taillight setup and new alloy wheels with aero inserts.
It also gets flush door handles, muscular shoulder lines and specially designed aero-optimized 19-inch alloy wheels for additional range. However, the option of 20-inch alloy wheels is also available with this SUV. At the rear, it gets slim, connected LED tail-lights just below the boot spoiler which enhances its rear profile. Apart from this, the ‘Infiniti Mahindra’ illuminated logo looks quite attractive.
