Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission will be started on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary on 12 January 2025 (Youth Day). The main objectives of the mission are to promote self-confidence building among the youth, preparation for competition, upgradation of their skills and activities to hone their talent. The key components of the mission are communication, capability and prosperity. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave this information in his address before the meeting of the Council of Ministers. The meeting of the Council of Ministers started with the singing of Vande Mataram. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also informed the members of the Council of Ministers about the factual situation regarding disposal of Union Carbide’s waste. Before the meeting of the Council of Ministers, a presentation was given on Yuva Shakti Mission. Cabinet members also expressed their views.
Referring to the young population of the country, Minister Vijayvargiya said that today India is the youngest country in the world because 27 percent of its population is young. Madhya Pradesh is taking it as a mission to make the youth self-reliant and utilize their energy properly. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has asked all the ministers to work on how they can engage the youth in their departments and provide them employment.
At present, coaching facilities are provided to the children of Scheduled Castes and Tribes in the state for the preparation of competitive examinations. The government has decided to provide similar facilities to poor talented children of other categories also. He further said that work will be done in the field of fish production and milk production to double the income of farmers. Work will be done with the farmers for the process from milk packing to milk chilling. The number of collection centers will be increased. The brands of the state will take Sanchi to the global level. The 16th Finance Commission is about to come in the state. There was discussion regarding this also in the cabinet. Also, all the departments were asked to make preparations so that the state gets maximum amount from the Centre.
