Kotwali police has arrested the leader of the bike theft gang and the buyer who bought parts of stolen bikes. According to the information received, on 10.12.24, complainant Birendra Yadav’s father late. Krishna Yadav s. Baidhan’s TVS Star Motorcycle No. MP 53 MB 1876 was stolen by an unknown thief and on 02.01.25, the motorcycle HF Don No. of the complainant Balram Soni, father Kanhaiyalal Soni, resident of Ganiari. TN 34 UP 64 MB2860 was stolen by an unknown thief and on 02.01.25, the motorcycle HF Deluxe no. of complainant Sanjay Kumar Yadav, father Ramprasad Yadav, resident of Ganiari. On theft of MP66 MA 4928, a crime under section 303 (2) of BNS was registered in Baidhan police station and taken up for investigation.

Keeping in view the serial theft of motorcycles in the city, Kotwali in-charge Ashok Singh Parihar formed three teams of police in plain uniform and actively searched the addresses of the thieves. The thief who stole the motorcycle, Bharat Dubey, father Lalan Prasad Dubey, aged 30 years, resident of Khutar police station Baidhan, was taken into custody and interrogated closely, who confessed to the crime of stealing the said motorcycles and after stealing the motorcycle, tires of the motorcycles Satendra Kumar Shah, father Undar Lal Shah age 25 years resident Ganiari police station Baidhan district Singrauli (M.P.), Santram Baghel father Maharaj Singh Baghel age 38 years Resident Shivpahari Chowki Sasan police station Baidhan, Ramlal Vishwakarma father Raghav Prasad Vishwakarma age 29 years resident Singrauli police station Baidhan, Singrauli, Umashankar Rajak father Shyamsundar Rajak age 20 years resident Khajuri police station Baidhan district Singrauli (M.P.) Told to sell and commit theft. The motorcycles were said to be kept hidden in a deserted place. All the above stolen motorcycles worth approximately Rs 2,50,000 were recovered from the possession of accused Bharat Kumar Dubey and the tires of the stolen motorcycles along with tire rims were recovered from the possession of the buyers and the case was registered under section 317(2), 317(4). BNS was extended and all the accused were arrested and JR was produced before the court.
