Chief Minister Sai inaugurated 193 different development works worth more than Rs 338 crore in Gariaband – Bhoomi Pujan

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 193 different development works worth more than Rs 338 crore during his Gariaband tour. These include Bhoomi Pujan of 149 development works worth Rs 219.03 crore and inauguration of 44 development works worth Rs 119.77 crore. Along with this, the departmental stalls were inspected and the beneficiaries were benefited from various government schemes.

Among the main works inaugurated by Chief Minister Sai, the widening, strengthening and upgradation work of Devbhog – Amalipadar – Urmal road length of 23 kilometers at a cost of Rs 36 crore 84 lakh. Upgradation work of Rajim – Pokhara road (length 20 km) is included at a cost of Rs 24 crore 5 lakh.

Apart from this, upgradation work of 47.60 kilometer Bardula-Nagri-Kanker-Bhanupratappur-Manpur road in Gariaband district at a cost of Rs 18 crore 9 lakh, establishment of sewerage treatment plant at a cost of Rs 14 crore under Nagar Panchayat Rajim and in village Urmal under Mainpur development block. 33/11 KV sub-station built at a cost of Rs 2 crore 56 lakh is included.

Along with this, the main works for which Bhoomi Pujan was performed included the upgradation work of Kopra-Pokhara 25 kilometer road at a cost of Rs 70 crore, construction of access road from Gram Panchayat Koma to village Piparchedi at a cost of Rs 4 crore 43 lakh, Rs 10 crore 20 lakh. This involves renovation of Sikasar Reservoir in Gariaband district at a cost of Rs.

Apart from this, construction of Jadjada embankment of Gariaband development block at a cost of Rs 4 crore 65 lakh, construction of hostel at a cost of Rs 10 crore for special backward tribe students in village Dhawalpur, Jidar, Jugaad and Piparchedi under Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana and Government Girls College, Gariaband. This includes building construction at a cost of Rs 4 crore 66 lakh.
