PM Narendra Modi inaugurated ‘Namo Bharat Corridor’ from New Ashok Nagar. Before this, PM Modi traveled by ‘Namo Bharat’ train and reached New Ashok Nagar from Sahibabad RRTS station. PM Modi inaugurated the 13 km long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar.
Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi has also inaugurated the first opening section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, the 2.8 km long Janakpuri to Krishna Park section. This project has been prepared at a cost of Rs 1200 crore. This will benefit the people of West Delhi areas like Krishna Park, Vikaspuri and Janakpuri.
School children recited poetry to PM in Rapid Rail
School children recited a poem to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his journey in the Rapid Rail. PM Modi was mesmerized after listening to a poem by a school girl and the school children also presented a painting of a metro train to Prime Minister Modi.
The 13 km long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut ‘Namo Bharat’ corridor has been constructed from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar at a cost of Rs 4,600 crore. Now the journey from Delhi to Meerut can be covered in just 40 minutes. Also this is the first Namo Bharat connectivity of Delhi.
Work is also going on on other phases regarding Namo Bharat trains. Construction work is going on at a fast pace from New Ashok Nagar to Sarai Kale Khan and from Meerut South to Modipuram. According to the information received, after the completion of the work on Delhi-Ghaziabad and Meerut Namo Bharat corridor, this corridor will be of total length of 82 kilometers.
