Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has instructed all the MLAs to make a vision document (roadmap) for the development of their area. He has said that all the MLAs should hold public dialogue with the regional officials regarding the resolution of public problems. Assess the results of public welfare campaigns and ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of government schemes. For this, it is necessary to go among the people, communicate with them, know their problems and take immediate steps to solve them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the review meeting of ongoing development activities and major construction works in Indore division on Thursday.
Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan, Indore MP Shri Shankar Lalwani and other regional MLAs and public representatives. Participated virtually in the meeting from their respective areas. In the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. S.N. Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Ashok Baranwal, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Smt. Deepali Rastogi, Principal Secretary Mr. Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Mrs. Rashmi Arun Shami and other senior officers were present.
Officers and public representatives should rest for the night in the village
In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav asked the ministers, MPs, MLAs and other public representatives associated with the government to make maximum field visits to get feedback on the government schemes. Stay overnight in remote villages (especially tribal villages) with public representatives and regional officials. Talk to the villagers there and solve their problems. In view of the increasing cold day by day, the Chief Minister directed the Collector and District Officers to conduct surprise inspections of night shelters. Provide blankets and warm clothes to the needy. No one should suffer from cold.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that if the MLA wants, he can also make some innovation for the development of the area. Implement such innovative activities which will provide maximum benefit to the public. He said that now the Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of all the divisions will hold a district-wise review meeting. This will give ample opportunity to all the MLAs to present the major demands and sensitive issues of their respective areas. He said that all collectors should now hold assembly-wise review meetings. Discuss with all the MLAs of the district and also cooperate in making the vision document of their assembly constituency.
Complete the construction of old approved CM Rise School
While reviewing the construction of CM Rise schools, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that whatever construction work of the old approved CM Rise schools is still remaining, they should be completed first on special priority. After this, a proposal for construction of new CM Rise schools should be taken.
Will discuss with Maharashtra government for completion of Tapti-Chillur mega project
In the review of Water Resources Department, information was given about Tapti-Chillur Major Irrigation Project of Khandwa district. On this, MLA from Harsud of Khandwa district and Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah urged the Chief Minister to approve this project as soon as possible. The Chief Minister assured them that work on this would be started as soon as possible. If necessary, he will also discuss this project with the Maharashtra government itself. It is noteworthy that after the completion of this major irrigation project costing about Rs 26 thousand 279 crore, permanent facility of crop irrigation and water recharging will be available in 81 thousand 600 hectare area of the concerned area.
Speed up the work of Jal Jeevan Mission
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the works conducted under Jal Jeevan Mission in Indore division. He said that incomplete works should be completed on priority. Jal Jeevan Mission is a campaign directly related to the public. If there is any problem in the implementation of this campaign, then its solution should be found through mutual communication and coordination. He said that he will review the progress of the ongoing works under Jal Jeevan Mission in the entire state by January 20. It was told that 3205.83 km of wells were dug under the tap water scheme in the districts under Indore division. Against the road so far 3166.81 km. The restoration work of the road has been completed with high quality. The restoration work of the remaining road will be completed after testing the pipeline.
The present four lane of Indore-Ujjain will be made six lane.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took information about the progress made so far in converting the four lane of Indore-Ujjain into six lane. It was told that a contract has been signed with the construction agency for this work. Pre-construction activities are also being carried out at a rapid pace as per the contract by the appointed construction agency. Indore MP demanded to make Indore-Depalpur road four lane.
