The pace of work on BPCL’s petrochemical plant will increase this year and new companies will come to work here. Presently civil work is going on, in which tree cutting and land leveling is being done.
To secure the site of the plant on the Bhankarai, Moodri village side, the boundary wall is being constructed at a fast pace and new gates are also being prepared on the same side. After leveling the land near Bhankarai, pillars have started being erected to install the machines of the plant. Besides, in the refinery complex where the main plant is to be built, the land is being leveled by blasting and trees are also being cut. After this work is done, the work of making the foundation for installing the machines of the plant will speed up. This year, big companies will come and start the work, so that this work can be completed in five years.
The process of land acquisition will be faster
The Industries Department will acquire 500 acres of land here and give it to BPCL. The process of land acquisition will be faster this year. Farmers are adamant on their demands regarding land acquisition and are talking about giving the land only after their demands are fulfilled. Farmers have also lodged an objection regarding this in the SDM court.
Employment will be available due to increase in work
As the work of the plant speeds up with the arrival of new companies, the local people will start getting employment. People have been waiting for this for a long time. Currently, very few people have got employment in the work that is going on. People are also opening tea, breakfast and food shops nearby.
