National Children’s Science Congress

National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) is a national science communication program started in 1993. It is a platform operated under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, which provides an opportunity to children in the age group of 10-17 years to develop scientific attitude, demonstrate creativity and innovation.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also inaugurate the automation of Varah Mihir Astronomical Observatory. With this initiative, common citizens will be able to do astronomical studies sitting at home, which will give Madhya Pradesh a new identity in the field of astronomy. In this, a group of two children along with a guiding teacher select a local problem and present its solution through the scientific process. This process is based on in-depth observation, raising questions, building models and finding solutions through experimentation. Children’s Science Congress encourages the spirit of curiosity and discovery in children, as well as inspires them to think from a scientific perspective and contribute to the development of the society. This program is an excellent platform to realize their imagination and give new dimensions to their creativity.
