Its verse 9:111 is open, which reads, ‘They fight, kill and die in the way of Allah…’ This verse is often used by extremists as a shield for their violence. Investigators say that Jabbar might have been inspired by this to take the path of violence. Jabbar also talked about the same ideology in his videos posted on Facebook a few minutes before the attack. He talks about being influenced by ISIS and also threatens his family.
