Cold has made life difficult for people in Madhya Pradesh. The pain of bone-chilling cold is being seen not only in the morning and evening but also in the afternoon. It is currently snowing in North India and from there icy winds are entering Madhya Pradesh. Due to these, a drop in minimum temperature has been seen in many districts of the state.
This period of falling temperature in Madhya Pradesh is going to continue for the time being. Icy winds have engulfed most parts of the state. Now the remaining districts may also fall prey to it. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of severe cold and cold wave for the coming three days.
As soon as the rainy season has ended in Madhya Pradesh, the temperature in many cities has reached below 10 degrees. The lowest temperature of 6.1 degrees Celsius was observed in Kalyanpur in Shahdol. Apart from this, cold day situation prevails in cities like capital Bhopal, Rewa, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Satna, Ujjain, Umaria, Shivpuri, Balaghat, Raisen, Rewa, Naugaon, Guna. Fog and cold wave will be seen for the next three days.

Currently, snowfall is occurring in areas like Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Jammu. The icy winds coming from here are causing the temperature of the state to drop. According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, the wind speed will increase due to which the effect of cold will increase. 20 to 22 days of January are going to be cold wave and cold days.
Cold wave alert here
According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, a cold wave alert has been issued in 19 districts including Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior on Thursday. Cold wave will also prevail in Morena, Datia, Sagar, Bhind, Rajgarh, Chhatarpur, Niwari, Umaria, Damoh and Katni. Since this morning many districts are wrapped in a blanket of dense fog.
