Umaria – On the occasion of New Year, Pali Police and a group of active youth of the district, Youth Team Umaria, have been continuously working for the country, society and students. In this sequence, keeping in mind the increasing cold, with the help of various senior people and officials of Pali Nagar, sweaters, warm clothes, blankets and shawls were distributed to 100 needy families, children, women and elderly people. In this sacred work, sweater blankets were distributed to the needy people with the support and presence of Pali police station in-charge Madanlal Maravi, head constable Shailendra Kumar Dubey, constable Reva Shankar, social worker Gauri Aggarwal.

Team leader Himanshu Tiwari said that the clothing donation campaign was started as soon as the cold started. The same needy people were identified and on the first day of 2025, sweater blankets were presented as gifts to all the needy children and elderly women to protect them from cold. This initiative of the youth was greatly appreciated by the residents of the district. Himanshu Tiwari, Khushi Sen, Varsha Burman, Anusuiya Dahiya, Sanjana Kevat, Khushboo Burman, Anita Rautell, Deepika Markam, Anjali Singh, Pooja Baiga, Anjali Singh, Madhavi Kol, Rajni Baiga, Sahil Baiga and all were present during the distribution.

Pali police station in-charge Madan Lal Maravi praised the youth team and said that this campaign is very important in the cold. The initiative of donating clothes to protect the needy families and children from the cold is commendable. We all should go ahead and ensure participation of the youth in this initiative. Needed So that warm clothes can reach more and more needy families. After distribution of warm clothes, biscuits and chocolates were given to all the children present.
