Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made empowerment of poor, youth, farmers and women (GYAN) the basis for the development of the country. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, with the resolve to shape the all-round development of Madhya Pradesh in the coming year 2025, the state government has launched Garib Kalyan Mission, Yuva Shakti Mission, Farmer Welfare Mission and Women Empowerment Mission for the development of four main pillars. Different blue-prints have been prepared to complete it. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will launch these empowerment missions from the month of January. The Chief Minister strongly believes that by strengthening these four pillars, a golden chapter of development of Madhya Pradesh can be written.
Yuva Shakti Mission will provide skills to the young generation in the fields of emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and sports. This will prepare them for the changing job market and will also develop capable leadership qualities. Women Empowerment Mission will give them opportunities and encouragement for financial independence, educational opportunities and entrepreneurship. With this, women will become self-reliant and gender equality will be promoted in the state. The Farmers Welfare Mission aims to make farming profitable by providing financial assistance and technical advice to encourage progressive measures like integration of animal husbandry and fisheries along with diversification as well as supporting businesses like animal husbandry and fisheries. In the Garib Kalyan Mission, the government will help in breaking the cycle of poverty by providing financial assistance, land rights and social security to economically backward communities.
Yuva Shakti Mission
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav believes that ‘Yuva Shakti Mission’ will prove to be a strong foundation for the empowerment of youth. The mission will develop feelings of education, skill development and community service among the youth. He will also be able to use modern technology efficiently. As a result, successful and capable leadership qualities will also develop in the youth. The role of modern technology is very important in the successful implementation of ‘Yuva Shakti Mission’. The government has launched online platforms to make skill development courses easily available to the youth and enable them to understand them easily. Its advantage is also that its facilities will be equally accessible to the youth of both rural and urban areas. For the success of the mission, the government has also made a strategy to make effective use of social media, so that information related to the mission can be easily made available to the youth. This will increase awareness about the mission among the youth.
Women Empowerment Mission
The Women Empowerment Mission is designed to improve the socio-economic conditions of women in the state. The objective of the mission is to bring gender equality in the state by providing equal opportunities to women as men so that an inclusive society can be established in the state. Under the mission, they will be provided vocational training for education and skill development. This will increase their ability and chances of getting employment and will achieve financial independence. The Mission will also promote women entrepreneurship, providing them resources, guidance and financial assistance to start and smoothly run their businesses. Social empowerment of women will also include programs to address gender issues such as domestic violence and dowry harassment. This mission will increase awareness among women about their rights and create a supportive environment. Also, one-stop centers will be set up to provide legal aid, counseling and medical aid to women. Women Empowerment Mission will ensure that leadership skills are developed among women so that they can contribute significantly to the overall development of Madhya Pradesh by providing efficient leadership at the local level.
Farmer Welfare Mission
The objective of Farmer Welfare Mission is to improve agriculture and make farming a profitable deal, so that the standard of living of farmers improves and they can contribute significantly in strengthening the economy of Madhya Pradesh. Farming and farmers are important parts of strengthening the economy, hence this mission under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will ensure that farmers prosper and bring economic stability in the agriculture sector. The main objective of the mission is to make farming profitable. For this, under the mission, emphasis will be laid on agricultural diversification, organic farming, integration of businesses like animal husbandry, fish farming and making them market-oriented and ensuring access to the markets of the produce along with promoting agri-entrepreneurship among the farmers. The Mission will also organize e-commerce platforms and local fairs to directly connect farmers to markets, enabling them to get fair prices for their produce. To reduce the financial burden of farmers, under the mission they will be given financial assistance and subsidy to purchase seeds, fertilizers and equipment, which will reduce their expenses and increase their income. The Mission will encourage cooperation among farmers by promoting the establishment of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) so that the agriculture sector can move forward in an organized manner. Besides, in the mission, farmers will also be provided training related to agricultural techniques and effective management of resources.
Garib Kalyan Mission
Garib Kalyan Mission is an innovative initiative launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, which aims to empower economically backward communities and ensure that essential services reach them. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, this mission is part of an important strategy to empower the marginalized sections of the society. The main objective of the mission is to strengthen social security measures for the poor, so that the underprivileged can get the necessary support in difficult times. Additionally, the Mission will provide this section with the benefit of schemes capable of dealing with employment related challenges. The mission will help in economic empowerment by providing financial assistance to the economically backward and needy. Access to basic services such as health, education and housing will be improved, thereby improving the living standards of poor families. The objective of Garib Kalyan Mission is to remove economic disparity in Madhya Pradesh by making the deprived class economically prosperous, so that the poor class can also contribute equally in the development of the state.
