Six members of the gang that stole a bike from Raipur and used it in Odisha have been arrested by the police. This gang worked in a very vicious manner. Police arrested Vicky Tandekar, Janak Tandi alias Jani, Lakesh Tandekar alias Lucky, Roshan Nadar, Neeraj Nayak alias Neeru, Abhishek Patel and seized 27 vehicles.

The accused told during interrogation that after receiving demand from Odisha, the bike was stolen and sent from here. The accused had stolen the vehicle from Azad Chowk, DD Nagar, Kabir Nagar, Saraswati Nagar, Urla, Maudhapara and other police station areas.

Such open layer by layer case
The police caught Vicky first. After this his other associates were caught. Firstly, at the instance of the accused, 12 stolen two-wheelers were seized from their possession. Accused Vicky was said to be selling the stolen vehicles in Odisha through Janak Tandi alias Jani, resident of Chitro Tandi, Bhalumuda Odisha.

Vicky and Janak were taken on remand. Meanwhile, Chitro Tandi is absconding. A 15-member special team of Anti Crime and Cyber ​​Unit has been sent to Odisha to take further action. Taking sustained action by the team members, a total of 15 two-wheelers were recovered from Odisha at the behest of the accused.

Janak Tandi is a resident of Raipur. When someone in Odisha needed a car at a cheap price, he used to send the name of the car to Vicky Tandekar in Raipur on WhatsApp.

After this Vicky used to steal the demanded bike. After this, Lakesh, Roshan, Neeraj and Abhishek used to go to Odisha to drop the stolen vehicles from Raipur.

Apart from this, the police took action at different places in the city and also seized 45 abandoned vehicles. Officials said that such actions will continue in the city. The police is tightening its grip on gangs that steal bikes.
