At the same time, a large number of people of the society are protesting and sitting on the road near the spider. Movement of vehicles has been banned.
The backward class society says that the reservation fixed by the government in the municipal elections should be cancelled. OBC community should be given the benefit of reservation by making reservation again. The society has warned of violent agitation if its demands are not met. Congress has also supported this demonstration of the backward class society.
In Jagdalpur also, to make the bandh successful since morning, members of the backward class society toured Jagdalpur city with placards in their hands in the form of a rally. Most of the shops in Sanjay Market, Gol Bazaar and Main Road of the city remained closed. Divisional President of Backward Class Society, Tarun Singh Dhakad said that after the Assembly-Lok Sabha, urban body and panchayat elections will be held in Chhattisgarh in the coming days. Backward class community seats have been cut in this election. Backward class society has suffered losses in the process of reservation. Due to this, the backward class society called for closure of Bastar division today.
