International Kabaddi star Padmashree Ajay Thakur from Dabhota village of Nalagarh has retired from international Kabaddi. He has announced his retirement during the Kabaddi competition in Melbourne, Australia. He said that he has played a lot of Kabaddi now. Now many young players have come in the country who play Kabaddi much better than them. They will get a chance to come forward. Anyway, he has many injuries in his body due to which he will not be able to continue his game further.
Earned a lot of name as a raider at international level
Ajay Thakur has earned a lot of name as a raider at the international level. He was also the captain of India. Himachal Government has honored him with Arjuna Award and Government of India has honored him with Padmashree Award. Himachal government has also given him the post of DSP in police. Presently he is working as DSP in Una.

Ajay Thakur had gone to Melbourne to participate in the Kabaddi competition organized by the Australian government. Here he was playing as captain. After playing the match on Saturday, he posted this post on social media. Ajay Thakur has opened Kohinoor Sports Kabaddi Academy in Dabhota in which he trains young players.
