During the tenure of Baghel dynasty of Rewa, the sons of Baghelkhand gave a befitting reply to the attack of enemies in Rewa state. The story of bravery of the generals and brave soldiers here was written in Naikahai in Chorhata. Bravery memorials have been established in the memory of the heroes at Naikhai. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla took stock of the work of keeping these bravery monuments safe and protected. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla gave instructions to complete the various works approved for beautification within the time limit. He said that Naikhai Memorial should be developed as a tourist destination. The construction work of its boundary wall and main gate should be completed soon.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that an amount of Rs 1 crore 25 lakh has been sanctioned for the renovation of the umbrellas of brave martyrs in the complex. Complete the tender process and start the work soon, so that Naikhai Shaurya Memorial can be formally inaugurated on 8 February 2025, the martyrdom day of the brave men. Regional Director Industrial Development Center Shri U.K. Tiwari, Executive Engineer Industrial Development Corporation Shri K.K. Garg and Housing Board officials were present.
Listened to Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla listened to the Prime Minister’s “Mann Ki Baat” program with the local people at his residence. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said on this occasion that work is being done in every direction to fulfill the resolve taken by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to develop and make the country a world leader. Through the program “Mann Ki Baat”, we all get guidance and inspirational speeches from Prime Minister Shri Modi. This provides new energy to carry out works of public interest.
Rewa’s talented shooter Yash Pandey honored
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla honored Rewa’s talented shooter Yash Pandey at his residence. The Deputy Chief Minister said that not only in Rewa, there are many talented players in the entire Vindhya region, who have proved their talent at the national and international level. Yash also got a medal not only in the national rifle shooting competition but also in the Olympics. The Deputy Chief Minister honored Yash by giving him a flower bunch and feeding him sweets. It is noteworthy that Yash Pandey represented Madhya Pradesh in the 67th National Rifle Shooting Competition held in Bhopal. Yash Pandey brought glory to Madhya Pradesh and Rewa by winning silver medal in 10 meter rifle.
Bhairav Baba temple complex will be developed as a religious tourist destination
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla took stock of the ongoing beautification work in the famous Bhairav Baba temple complex near Gudh tehsil of Rewa district. After offering prayers at Bhairav temple, inspected various works including construction of shed. He said that the construction works should be completed by January 31. Bhairav Baba temple complex will be developed as a religious tourist destination. He said that it can become an important tourist destination between the Solar Park and Gurh Industrial Development Centre.
