While addressing the Parvatdaan and Ashwamedh Yagya Mahotsav in village Timarlaga, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that whenever big religious events take place, the entire surrounding area gets drenched in the colors of devotion. Chhattisgarh is the maternal birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. This is the land where Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile. In the holy land of Chhattisgarh, in Shivrinarayan, Mother Shabari had fed false berries to Lord Shri Ram. Our land of Chhattisgarh is a very sacred land. We have Valmiki ji’s ashram in Turturia. Valmiki Ashram is the land where Luv and Kush caught the horse of Ashwamedha Yagya. The memories of Lord Shri Ram are present in every corner of Chhattisgarh. We are continuously working to save the memories of Lord Shri Ram.

Chief Minister Sai said that we are also working to connect the five Shaktipeeths of the state. We also started organizing the Kumbh Mela again in Rajim, the city of Triveni Sangam.
