The fourth test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is being played in Melbourne. Till stumps on the second day, the Indian team’s score in the first innings is 164/5 runs. In this Boxing Day Test, Indian captain Rohit Sharma came to open. However, he could not do anything special. He scored 3 runs on 5 balls. Pat Cummins made him his victim.

Rohit started the innings
Rohit Sharma, who batted at number 6 in the last 2 tests, made a big change in the fourth test.
He dropped Shubhman Gill from the playing 11.
Washington Sundar was replaced in the final 11.
KL Rahul, who was opening, was given the place at number 3.
Rohit failed miserably in the opening also.

Bumrah has taken 25 wickets
Rohit Sharma’s performance in the 5-match Test series so far has been quite shameful. Jasprit Bumrah has taken more wickets in this series than the runs he has scored in the series. Rohit has scored 22 runs so far in the current series. On the other hand, Indian vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah has taken 25 wickets in his name so far.

Rohit did not play the first test
Due to personal reasons, Rohit Sharma did not play the first test match of Border Gavaskar Trophy.
In such a situation, Jasprit Bumrah captained this match. Rohit Sharma returned in the second test and scored 3-6 runs.
India lost this test by 10 wickets.
In the third test, Hitman scored 1 run and the match ended in a draw.
