ISBT located at Kumedi in Indore is almost ready. About 186 buses going to Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi region will operate from this bus stand equipped with modern facilities.
A meeting of bus operators was held here under the chairmanship of Collector Ashish Singh to discuss the operation of the bus stand. In this meeting, a consensus was reached regarding the operation of the said buses.
It was told in the meeting that ISBT located at Kumedi is almost ready. The operation of this bus stand will start from next January. Collector Ashish Singh said that a plan has been prepared to operate buses going to Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi areas from this bus stand.
This bus stand is equipped with modern facilities. The bus stand has many facilities for passengers and buses. In view of the improvement in traffic in the city along with the convenience of passengers and bus operators, it is beneficial to operate buses from this bus stand.
He said that the buses going to the said areas are currently operating from here and there. Many buses pass through the busiest routes of the city, causing traffic disruption. In the meeting, bus operators were informed about the bus operation plan. In the meeting, agreement was reached regarding bus operation from ISBT.
Bus operators also gave their suggestions regarding the plan. Based on the suggestion, it was told that Indore Development Authority will provide space to vehicle operators to park buses near ISBT. For the convenience of passengers, connectivity to means of public transport like city bus, auto, e-rickshaw etc. will be done till ISBT. Overall, ISBT located at Kumedi in Indore, Madhya Pradesh is almost ready. About 186 buses going to Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi region will operate from this bus stand equipped with modern facilities.
