For the first time, instead of Republic Day, the country’s children’s awards will be given on the occasion of National Children’s Awards on 26th December. This time, President Draupadi Murmu will honor all the 17 children who were awarded.

This honor will be given not only for bravery but also for remarkable contribution in the fields of art-culture, exploration, science and technology, social service, sports and environment. However, the main focus of this celebration will be ‘Veer Bal Diwas’.
17 children will get awards
The Union Women and Child Welfare Minister issued a statement on Tuesday saying that Veer Bal Diwas will be celebrated on coming Thursday to honor the achievements and strengths of India’s children. On this occasion, 17 children from 14 states and union territories will be honored this year for their nationwide activities. In this award ceremony, seven boys and ten girls will be honored for their notable contribution in seven categories.
