A villager riding a bike died after being hit by a speeding truck in Raigarh district, while another was injured and is undergoing treatment. After the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a crime against the accused truck driver and taken the matter under investigation.
The above case is of Gharghoda police station area. According to the information received, Yashoda Agaria, a resident of village Kantajharia under Gharghoda police station area, lodged a report in the police station and said that on December 21, her husband Lalit Kumar Agaria had gone with Dilbodh Dhanwar in the evening on a motorcycle for some work. The horse was gone. Meanwhile, at around 10 pm, she received information from her mobile phone that her husband Lalit Kumar Agaria and his partner Dilbodh Dhanwar’s truck number was found on the main road near Dhoram Chowk. The driver of CG-04 PD 9508 hit him while driving fast and carelessly. Both the injured have been admitted to Gharghoda Civil Hospital for treatment. After which when she reached the hospital, she saw that both Lalit Agaria and Dilbodh Dhanwar were injured. Both were undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, Lalit Agaria died this morning at around 7.30 am. However, after the death of the woman’s husband in a road accident, on the complaint of the victim, Gharghoda police has registered a case against the accused truck driver under section 106, 125 (A) 281 and has started taking further action.
Woman dies during treatment
After a dispute with her husband, a wife poured diesel on herself and set herself on fire in the newly formed Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district of Chhattisgarh. The woman was brought to Raigarh Medical College in critical condition where she died during treatment. The police have established the route and are busy in further action. According to the information received, 22 year old Shweta Nishad, a resident of Bahelidih under Baramkela police station area, committed suicide by pouring diesel on herself at 9 am on Sunday. It is being told that Shweta had a love marriage with Sonu Nishad, who works as a driver, about two and a half years ago and they also have a one and a half year old son. Last night Shweta had a dispute with her husband Sonu over some issue.
This morning too, a dispute started over the same matter, after which the woman surrendered herself to others by sprinkling diesel kept in the house on herself. The husband also got seriously injured while trying to save his wife. After this sudden incident, the family members immediately took the burnt woman to Baramkela Hospital and admitted her. When the woman’s condition did not improve, she was brought to Raigarh Medical College where she died during treatment. However, after the death of the woman who was burnt in the fire, the Barmakela police is investigating the entire matter and interrogating the family members.
