Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that education is necessary to achieve success in any field. Life is incomplete without education. Education is the basic mantra of development. Chief Minister Shri Sai said this while addressing the 18th annual festival of Kanger Valley Academy in the capital Raipur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our double engine government has taken unprecedented decisions in the field of education. We have implemented the National Education Policy in the state. We have started innovative initiatives like teacher-parent meetings and banquets in schools to improve the quality of education and nutrition of children. He said that 341 schools in the state have been selected as PMShri schools. Good infrastructure and smart class facilities are being provided for education. He said that all the major national level educational institutions are being run in Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that I was happy to know that along with studies, sports are being given importance in this school. Children are also given meditation here. He also gave the message to the children that along with studies, sports and co-scholastic activities are necessary for their overall development.
MLA Padmashree Anuj Sharma said that along with education, the work of imparting values to the students is also being done in this school. Education plays a big role in personality development. This is the basis of future successes.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai also visited the exhibition of paintings and fine art works made by the students of the academy.
