Three people died after being burnt alive in Lakshmipura village of Shivpuri district in Madhya Pradesh. According to the information, to save themselves from the cold, they slept with a bonfire in the hut. The fire from the bonfire spread into the hut and all three people sleeping in it died. Among those killed are an elderly person and two children, whose names are Hazari Banjara (65), Sandhya Banjara (10) and Anushka Banjara (5). Both the girls were sleeping with their grandfather. During this time the hut caught fire. Pohri MLA Kailash Kushwaha has provided financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to the families of the deceased. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
