Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the three-day Madhya Pradesh Civil Services Meet on Friday. Sherpa of G-20 India and former Chairman of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant, present as a special guest, said in his address that India is moving ahead on its journey of becoming a $30 trillion economy, in such a situation the role of Madhya Pradesh becomes very important. Is. Madhya Pradesh, with its vast natural resources, strategic location and immense development potential, has the potential to become a pillar in achieving the goal of a developed India.
Amitabh Kant said that Madhya Pradesh is blessed with unique natural beauty, rich wildlife and cultural heritage. The state has become India’s leading tourist destination due to its network of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, its vast national parks and tiger reserves. With its tourism potential, Madhya Pradesh is giving tough competition to states like Rajasthan and Kerala in the global tourism market.
Amitabh Kant said that India’s development journey to become the third largest economy in the world will be completed only when its states also make continuous progress. The journey of developed Madhya Pradesh completely matches with the vision of developed India. Madhya Pradesh is ready to contribute significantly to India’s emergence as a global economic superpower by becoming a model of progress, innovation and inclusivity.

In the panel discussion, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain described teamwork as the most important thing in administrative service. He said that the officer should try to make himself a better person and effective administrator by listening, reading, gaining experience and introspection. Referring to Shiv Kheda’s statement, he said “Learn to listen and listen to learn.”
In the discussion, former Chief Secretary R. Parashuram, former Chief Secretary BP Singh, retired senior IAS officer PK Das shared their experiences. The speakers advised the young officers to imbibe ethical values in their work and maintain integrity in administrative decisions.
Speakers in the panel discussion asked officers to deliver services to the last man in the queue and courageously stand up for the right issues. Young officers should understand their role and work with dedicated work and passion to bring about change.
