Notorious criminal Ranjan Garg has built a farm house by illegally occupying one acre of valuable government land near the Masturi National Highway adjacent to the city, which was demolished by the administration using a bulldozer on Friday. Ranjan Garg has also committed murder. Let us tell you that the local people had complained about this illegal occupation, which the Collector has taken seriously and has instructed the revenue and police officers to take action. In fact, habitual criminal Ranjan Garg has illegally occupied about one acre of government land located on the banks of Arpa river of Gram Panchayat Dheka Panchayat of Masturi National Highway adjacent to the city, in which he has built a farm house.
Collector Bilaspur Avnish Sharan received a written complaint by Ranjan Garg about encroachment on a part of Khasra No. 257 (about 1 acre) in village Mahmand area in Jandarshan. Giving instructions to take strict action on this, Collector Bilaspur directed the Sub-Divisional Officer Bilaspur and the concerned Tehsildar to investigate and take proper action. Collector Bilaspur registered the complaint received in the matter of time limit and sent it to Bilaspur SDM.
On which, on the instructions of SDM Piyush Tiwari, the concerned Tehsildar immediately called for the investigation report from Halka Patwari and when government land was found, eviction action was taken as per rules. It was seen on the spot that about 50-100 police forces and CSP Kotwali, SDM Bilaspur, Tehsildar and police station in-charge Torva were all present. This is a clear message from Collector Bilaspur that action will be taken against those who encroach illegally. Will remain.
