America has imposed sanctions on a government missile development agency of Pakistan. Apart from this, three other vendor companies have also been banned. Meanwhile, the claim of a senior White House official created a stir. He said that Pakistan is busy developing a long range ballistic missile which can hit outside South Asia. Even America can come under attack from that missile attack. America’s Deputy National Security Advisor John Finer said that Islamabad’s attitude is questionable. After all, what is his intention that he is preparing such missiles?
While addressing an event, Finer said that it is surprising for us and it is difficult to understand how Pakistan is emerging as such a big threat. He can especially target even America. Meanwhile, Pakistan has suffered a severe blow due to America’s allegations and sanctions. He has not taken the name of India, but accused America of discrimination. Pakistan said that America does not do anything like this with some countries, but sanctions are being imposed on Pakistan with fabricated allegations.
The American official said that Pakistan is continuously increasing missile technology. At present it is preparing long range ballistic missiles. If its trend continues, it will reach beyond South Asia and will especially have the capability to target America. Let us tell you that America has banned Pakistan’s government missile technology company National Development Complex. Apart from this, restrictions have also been imposed on its three other vendor companies Akhtar & Sons Private Limited, Affiliates International and Rockside Enterprises.
Regarding these allegations and restrictions of America, Pakistan has said that its attitude is discriminatory. He said that in this way America is creating imbalance among regional powers. His clear reference was towards India only. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said, ‘Due to such double standards and discriminatory policies, America has weakened its trust. Apart from this, it is creating imbalance at the regional level. This may also pose a threat to international security and peace.
