It is harsh winter in the northern states of the country. The temperature continues to drop. In some cities of Haryana and Himachal, the temperature has reached zero degree Celsius while in Jammu-Kashmir and Uttarakhand the temperature has reached minus 4 degree Celsius. Winter is breaking records in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, Hisar in Haryana was the coldest in the plains. Five cities of Rajasthan have recorded temperatures below 4 degrees Celsius. The temperature will fall further on Saturday-Sunday. Severe cold wave will also continue. There will also be rain in some states.
The mercury has reached 0 degrees in many districts here. Meteorological Department said- Hisar of Haryana remained the coldest in the plains. The temperature here was recorded up to 0.8 degrees. At the same time, the temperature in Bhuntar of Himachal reached near zero degrees.

Winter is not decreasing even in the states of Central India, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The temperature in Karauli, Rajasthan reached 1.3 degrees. Snow frozen on leaves is being seen at many places including Sikar and Jhunjhunu. In the last 24 hours, the night temperature was recorded below 4 degrees in 5 cities of Rajasthan. Mount Abu recorded a temperature of 2.0°, Fatehpur 2.2°, Sangaria 3.3°, Churu 3.5° and Karauli 3.4° Celsius.
Severe cold in MP and Delhi also
The minimum temperature in 12 cities of Madhya Pradesh remained below 8 degrees. The lowest temperature recorded was 3.3 degrees Celsius. The temperature was also recorded at 5 degrees in Delhi. There may be further drop in temperature here today.
