The police has arrested the accused in the suicide case of a deaf-mute student. Disturbed by the beating of a classmate, a disabled student had committed suicide by jumping from the roof of the ashram. After this was revealed in the investigation, action has been taken against the accused. The whole matter is of Sirgitti police station.
According to the information received, on December 12, Kumari Pallavi, a student studying computer in the sheltered workshop, had committed suicide. The student had committed suicide by jumping from the roof. People who reached the spot admitted the disabled student to SIMS Hospital. Here, after treatment in the ICU till evening, the doctor declared the student dead. The forensic team had also arrived to investigate the case. Pallavi could not speak or hear. Akash Ravi, a resident of Mahagai village of Surajpur, had assaulted Pallavi before the incident. Due to which the student was very upset. Pallavi had given this information to her sister in a video call. In the case, the sign language expert interrogated the accused Akash. After which Akash accepted the charge. The police have registered a case under section 120 of the Indian Justice Code and arrested the accused.
