Indian Railways is coming up with an app named ‘IRCTC Super App’, which will make the experience of passengers very wonderful. Many facilities including ticket booking, cargo booking, food ordering will be available in this one app. IRCTC has created this app in partnership with Center for Railway Information System (CRIS). The aim of this app is to provide all kinds of facilities to the users on a single platform, so that they do not have to face any trouble. Earlier, users had to go to different apps for everything, which caused mental stress.
These are the features of super app
Through Super App, the facilities available from different apps of IRCTC will be available on a single platform. You can do many things through this app including buying train tickets, taking platform passes, reserving and unreserving tickets. With the help of this app, these tasks will be done quickly. You won’t have to stand in line and face crowds. You will not need to go to IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS, Rail Madad and other platforms.
Reserve ticket booking system will continue to work
Railways has launched a new super app to make its services more accessible digitally. Through this app, passengers will be able to avail their booking and other services from a single login. This app will help in making the journey more comfortable.
Developed by CRIS, the IT department of Indian Railways, the app aims to make railway services more simple and convenient. However, even after the launch of this app, the existing reserved ticket booking system of IRCTC will continue to work as before. This app will prove to be a big benefit for the passengers, which will make railway travel more comfortable.
