Publication of textbooks in the state should be on time: School Education Minister Singh

School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh has instructed the departmental officers that textbooks should be easily accessible to the children studying in schools in the year 2025-26 academic session in the state as soon as the academic session starts. Minister Shri Singh was addressing the meeting of Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation at Mantralaya on Monday. He inquired about the distribution system of text books.

It was told in the meeting that in the National Education Policy-2020, it has been recommended that children studying in schools be taught in their regional dialects. In accordance with this, story books on tribal and regional dialects are being published in multiple languages ​​by the Text Book Corporation in the state. Preparation of curriculum and training arrangements for teachers were also discussed in the meeting. Officials of the Text Book Corporation gave information about the publication of text books and their distribution system in the last academic session. Commissioner of Public Instruction, Mrs. Shilpa Gupta, Director of State Education Center, Mr. Harjinder Singh, Managing Director of Text Book Corporation, Mr. Vinay Nigam and departmental officers were present in the meeting.
