There has been a stir in the forest department after the dead body of a 4 year old male tiger was found in the Pench Tiger Reserve of Seoni in Madhya Pradesh. After the incident, Pench management is engaged in investigation. It is being told that the dead body is four to five days old. In the initial investigation, it is suspected that the tiger may have died after getting injured in a fight for territory.
The patrol team found the dead body of a 4-year-old male tiger in room number 630 of West Khamrit Beat under Kurai range of Pench Tiger Reserve. On receiving information about the incident, the Forest Department staff reached the spot and performed the last rites of the tiger. According to the information, the dead body is two to three days old. The team found all the body parts of the tiger safe. Wound marks were also found in the tiger’s body. Looking at it, it seems as if the tiger had died after getting injured in a fight for territory with another tiger.
At present, the Pench management has started investigation of the tiger’s carcass as per the PM report. Even after investigation it will be clear what caused the death of the tiger.
