Congress legislature party meeting, Bhupesh Baghel nowhere to be seen

Raipur

On Sunday, the Congress Legislature Party meeting was held in a hotel in Raipur. All the Congress MLAs arrived but Bhupesh Baghel was nowhere to be seen. Within a short time many types of discussions started.

What will be the stand of Congress inside the House in the meeting just a day before the session? Its strategy was prepared together by Leader of Opposition Charandas Mahant, State President Deepak Baij and former Deputy Chief Minister TS Singhdev.

Everyone was waiting that Bhupesh Baghel would also come. But even after about 2 hours he did not come. The meeting of Congress MLAs continued in a closed room. Leader of Opposition Charan Das Mahanta, TS Singhdev and Deepak Baij were leading the meeting. When Bhupesh Baghel did not come even after a few hours, news came that he would not attend the meeting due to Baghel’s unwell health.

After the meeting was over, when Charan Das Mahant came in front of the media, he smilingly said that before you ask me, I want to tell you that Bhupesh Baghel ji is not well. He is resting at home because he has a cold. But they will be seen in the House with full alertness and all the leaders will be seen in the House asking questions of public interest to the government.

Congress will bring adjournment and attention

Congress will bring an adjournment and calling attention motion in the assembly proceedings for about 4 days. Congress will also discuss the supplementary budget in the House from December 16 to 20. Congress MLAs are trying to raise the issue of public works stuck in their areas in the House.

Former ministers and MLAs were called

Congress made a new experiment and for the first time called former MLAs and former ministers in the legislature party meeting. Learned about their experiences from senior leaders. It was also asked that tell how to corner the government in the House.

Mahant said- the entire state is in anger. Will raise the issue of purchasing paddy and selling liquor in the House. This government has taken Chhattisgarh to a miserable state in just one year. We will utilize every minute of the assembly to bring up topics of public interest. What BJP people call good governance, their good governance is even greater than bad governance.

The session lasted for a month and there was no dearth of issues.

Congress State President Deepak Baij responded to BJP’s allegations that Congress does not have an issue. Baij said- He has brought a four-day session. Even if the session lasts for a month, we have no dearth of issues.

At present the Congress Party is fighting the battle of the people both inside the House and outside the House. Women have been tortured, children are being educated in toilets.

Regarding the proceedings being affected due to the uproar in the House, Baij said – Our legislature party wants discussion. But if the government runs away from discussion, how will it work? It is not our aim to create ruckus, the aim of Congress is to discuss.

Singhdev’s concern over Shah’s claim

On Sunday in Raipur, Amit Shah again said that Naxalism will be ended by March 31, 2026. Regarding this, Singhdev said – To meet such a deadline, not a single innocent person from Chhattisgarh should die in a fake encounter.

It is only when you keep such deadlines that these types of situations arise. The Congress party will not tolerate this haste. Regarding BJP’s claim of ending Naxalism from Surguja, Singhdev said that this is not the matter of the party. This is a matter of law and order.
