Governor Patel will attend the 75th T.B. function organized at Kshay Bhawan today. Was addressing the seal release programme. On this occasion, 75th T.B. Seal released. Symbolically T.B. Provided food baskets to 5 patients. T.B. Champion and honored two steadfast friends. The Governor was felicitated in the program by presenting him a shawl and a memento. Human Rights Commission Chairman Manohar Mamtani was also present in the release program.
Governor Patel said that T.B. Dissemination of information about disease is the primary requirement for disease eradication. He addressed TB in remote areas and deprived areas. Emphasis has been laid on efforts to create public awareness about the disease. It has been said that dialogue should be maintained at the community level. Make every household familiar with the symptoms of the disease. Explain that hiding the disease will be fatal. Even the most severe TB can be cured by early diagnosis of the disease, regular intake of medicines and a nutritious diet rich in vitamins. The patient may become healthy. He said that T.B. Along with the patients, it is necessary to inform the family members and attendants regarding disease prevention. He said that along with disease treatment, there is a need to focus on disease prevention also. Referring to the incident of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that Ujjwala Gas Scheme was based on the experiences of Modi’s visit to tribal areas in TB. It is an initiative to eradicate the disease. He said that for one meal, the smoke coming from the kitchen stove would be as deadly as the smoke of 60 cigarettes. To save mothers and sisters from this smoke, Prime Minister Modi had conceived the Ujjwala scheme.
In the program, Chairman, Municipal Corporation Bhopal Kishan Suryavanshi presented T.B. Assured to get the paving work of the hospital done. There was also talk of providing a grant of Rs 1 lakh to the association. He said that before Prime Minister Modi, education and health were the topics of discussion. By making Ayushman Card, the Central Government has made it the job of the government. Today, the government is giving Ayushman cards to all the elders above 70 years of age to keep the senior citizens of the society physically, mentally healthy and happy.
T.B. Association President Jaipal Sachdev said that the association is a unit of the national organization. The organization provides TB treatment to school children and citizens through doctors. It works to create public awareness regarding symptoms, treatment services and facilities.
Dr. Manoj Verma, voluntary secretary of the association, presented the progress report of the organization. Told that the organization is completely run with public cooperation. The institution has not received any kind of grant from the government.
Dr. Abhijeet Deshmukh, voluntary treasurer of the association, expressed his gratitude to all the guests present. He thanked Prime Minister Modi for his sensitivity and foresight.
