As per the instructions of Superintendent of Police Mr. Moti Ur Rehman, Kotwali Police has achieved an important success in the campaign to search for missing women and men in the district and reunite them with their families. A 23-year-old girl missing for five years has been traced and handed over to her family.

On September 6, 2019, Nehru Singh God, resident of Dhochimuda Bijuri, had lodged a missing complaint about his 19-year-old daughter Kamla Singh God at Kotwali Anuppur. In this regard, a case was registered under missing report number 47/19 and the search was going on.

Under the leadership of Kotwali police station in-charge Arvind Jain, Assistant Sub-Inspector Satanand Kol and constable Purnanand Mishra made tireless efforts and recovered the missing girl from Dibaritola Reula under Kotma police station. The girl was handed over to her family after necessary legal procedures. In the joy of getting back their daughter who had been lost for five years, the family appreciated the police and expressed gratitude for their promptness and dedication. This effort of Anuppur Police will further strengthen the trust in the police in the society.
