Scheffler defends Hero World Challenge title, Bhatia finishes fourth

Scottie Scheffler continued his stellar performance with a final round nine-under 63 to successfully defend his title at the Hero World Challenge. American world number one Scheffler won the title on Sunday with a total of 25-under 263 (67, 64, 69, 63). The 28-year-old won by six shots over Tom Kim, the largest margin of victory at Albany Golf Club.

South Korean Kim finished second in the final round with a four-under 68 and a total of 270 (74, 65, 62, 68). Justin Thomas finished third with a total score of 273. Indian-American player Akshay Bhatia (69) finished fourth at 15-under and Keegan Bradley (71) finished fifth at 14-under. Another American player of Indian origin Sahith Thegala (74) finished eighth and British player of Indian origin Aaron Roy (70) finished joint 14th.
