A bomb blast took place in front of the house of BJP leader Vaishali Dalmiya. Late night, suddenly the area was shaken by the sound of a bomb, which created an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. After receiving the information, the police of Thakurpukur police station went to the spot. It is being told that around 12 o’clock on Saturday night, some miscreants suddenly threw a bomb in front of the gate of the house of BJP leader Baisakhi Dalmiya. The residents of the area got frightened by the loud noise. Many people thought that a LPG cylinder had burst in some house. According to a neighbor, “I was going to sleep at night. Then there came a loud noise. It seemed as if a gas cylinder had burst in a house. Then I came out and saw that there was a big crowd of people.” Thakurpukur police reached the spot.
Police have recovered bomb twine and stone pieces from the spot. Local residents are being questioned in this regard. However, it is not yet clear to the police as to who carried out this incident. CCTV of the area is being examined to find the criminals. It is learned that the BJP leader now lives in a house near Thakurpukur police station. However, it is not yet clear what is the reason for this incident. It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured in the incident or not. After last night’s incident, there is an atmosphere of tension in the entire area since Sunday morning. Meanwhile, a large number of police personnel from Thakurpukur police station have been deployed in the entire area due to security reasons.
